⏳As someone who has no curves and pretty broad shoulders, it can be frustrating at times knowing that I don’t have that desired “hourglass figure.” Luckily not all hope is lost. Did you know that there is a solution to this dilemma? With the power of style, you can balance out your shape and create an hourglass figure in no time!⌛️
Here are my tips:
1. Wear v-neck tops: They draw the eye downward and create the illusion of a figure.👚
2. Wear high-waisted denim: This creates a new cinched waistline (creates a smaller waistline so your hips look wider), again giving you more of a shape.👖
3. Wear fitted jackets: This deflects attention from your top half, creates shape at your waist, and provides more balance for the bottom.🧥
4. Wear fitted tops and more loose/flowy bottoms: Boyfriend and mom jeans are my best friends because they balance out my body and create the illusion of curves and shape.👖
5. Wear prints, textures, and patterns on the bottom half of your body: This visually tricks the eye and creates the illusion of an hourglass figure because it draws attention to that area and balances things out on your top half.🐆🌸
6. Do a side tuck with your shirt: You can do this on either side! One side of my body is actually a little more curvy than the other so I tend to do a side tuck on the least curvy side to balance it out. By doing a side tuck you are accentuating your waist and again creating the illusion of an hourglass.👚
