Warm weather is prime time to buy some Summer clothes which includes some cute shorts. It's necessary to have at least a couple of shorts in your closet because when it gets real hot out there, jeans just won't cut it. You may wonder "How can I find the right shorts for me?" Well here's the answer:
-100% get a few pairs in different colors. That way you'll have some versatility in your wardrobe and won't get bored. I just recently bought a new pair of blue ones from Nordstrom Rack and I love them. I've always wanted a pair of black denim ones so I bought ones and I couldn't be happier! There's so much you can do with a black pair.
-Get some that are distressed or ripped too if that's what you like! I personally love ripped shorts because it gives them a really unique look. Here's a pic of me wearing some black ripped ones! <3
-Get ones that aren't too loose but aren't too tight. Make sure you wear ones that are comfortable for you AND make you feel good about yourself. If you're insecure about your thighs, get a pair that isn't too tight and is more comfortable. Wearing a wider pair is a great idea because they actually make your legs look smaller believe it or not. My personal go-to shorts are actually the flowy ones! I have more than I can count! They're not restricting at all and they go with all of my tops. Here's an example of me wearing a pair:
If you're really confident about your legs, don't be afraid to show them off! Wear a cute pair of cut-offs and show them off to your heart's content! While I do have bigger thighs, I still love having long legs so I do like to wear cut-offs myself. Here's a cute pair from Nordstrom Rack:
Finding the right shorts is all about what makes YOU feel comfortable and confident. To me, that's what style is all about. You can look your best and feel good about it too. I would definitely recommend checking out the places like Nordstrom Rack and Uniqlo to find some good ones. All it takes is some searching and trying on and you're bound to find the perfect pair for you!
